You need to boot the image off USB. Format it GPD with Rufus and name it WINPE.
Or if you don’t want Android just delete the RAW partitions and install Windows 10 from USB. Use the media creator tool.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30April 17, 2017 at 3:24 pm #65495Sounds easy. Is it micro or mini USB. The mini I have doesn’t seem to fit?
April 17, 2017 at 11:16 pm #65520It’s USB type C.
April 18, 2017 at 6:39 am #65529Sorry, I was thinking the mini HDMI connection was a USB
April 18, 2017 at 8:21 am #65530By the way, The battery life is not that great, if I use the USB port how do I keep the unit charged at the same time?
April 18, 2017 at 4:38 pm #65591Now the problem is that the unit is not recognizing the USB drive. I tried to check the BIOS, got in, but it is non responsive. Can not get to other then the summary page. Also tried to reset the unit as a solution, but I continiue to get a message to It needs more space, but there is nothing left to delete. I hope there are solutions, next step is to trash the unit.
April 19, 2017 at 9:36 pm #65713I got this for my USB-C to USB and charging needs. Admittedly, I never tried booting off it. I can check if that works if you’re really in a pinch. But cheaper hubs also work as people in different threads here confirmed. At any rate, don’t trash it yet, fully charged battery should give you 2 hours of time to install Windows, right?
April 20, 2017 at 8:00 am #65724Thanks for suggestion. I have tried two hubs with same result. Unfortunately they are on recognized at all. I guess drivers could be missing.
April 27, 2017 at 9:26 am #66140here:
I explained, how I removed the Android part. Maybe it helps…
May 6, 2017 at 5:32 pm #66607Thanks, it looks easy enough. Of course, I have made another mistake. I was working on using your suggestion and download. nfortunately I made yet another mistake somehow with system files and now can not find a way to boot. Every time I try it goes into the bios settings but I can not access it and the screen is not really working. Can only see it with attached monitor. I only have bluetooth keyboard so of course, it does not work when unit not in the operating system. Any options??????
July 5, 2017 at 9:17 am #68755Get an externally powered USB-hub and connect Keyboard, mouse, and USB-stick to it. Then boot the tablet. By the way, it just accepts 32bit boot loaders…
July 5, 2017 at 7:30 pm #68767Thanks I understand this. My problem now is the unit does not actually start. I Think I need entirely new install. I am happy for Windows only. I contacted Chuwi and got quick replay and then nothing. Do you know a Chuwi service center on the Continent?
July 7, 2017 at 11:22 pm #68907Only people I know that fix Chuwi Hi8 Pro in Europe are http://e-cdd.pl/
I can definitely recommend them, as they fixed my unit.
Beware, shipping will probably cost you more than the actual repair.
