I’ve seen a lot of posts about Jumper 3 Pro screens going bad. My situation is a bit different in that I have a 3L which has an inferior TN panel.
I was working on it when the screen went to maximum brightness which I couldn’t lower and then about 30 seconds later it went black and not a spec of light has come out of it since. The computer seems to be still running as when I turn it on my android phone gets a connect request from the Jumper. I tried some of the key presses that folks used on the Jumper 3 Pro but nothing worked.
I took the Jumper from California to Thailand to Vietnam to Japan and back to the US and it at least had the courtesy of holding on til I got back to the land of cheap electronics. BTW the prices of laptops in Japan are outrageous for cheap plastic looking behemoths – Japan not on the cutting edge anymore in that field.
My 3L lasted for eight months. I’m use to running my laptops for years and then selling them on trips to Argentina. I never dropped it like I have with other laptops. I treated it with kid groves but it did travel alot.
If anyone has any ideas on this 3L. I’m not a hardware guy but it seems like the screen got fried…
