    use taskmanager to see who takes up the power and the google how to disable it.

    A good start also is shutup10 -just disable everything you do not like via flick and swish (HP refference)
    I disabled everything.
    Most of the time the Jumper is at 10-25% processor usage

    There are quite many unfamilar background processes in task manager, anyway, I disabled superfetch, prefetch, chrome’s hardware acceleration (a lot quicker when loading sites like the youtube. )  telemetery, windows defender… lower mouse delay tmie in registry…. etc . I also turned off all desktop visual effects for performance…smooth scrolling, cleaned temp folders, saved win updated files….

    I am still using the crappy 64GB biwin SSD that came with the laptop, 25GB free space so far. it’s not fast but acceptable.

    If there is no Windows application you need to have/run then I’d recommend removing Windows and installing LinuxMint 19.1 (Xfce or Mate desktop).

    My biggest achivement for Linux is having my openmediavault NAS installed on an old laptop….  that’s it…. haha
