Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30April 4, 2016 at 9:25 pm #32019I’ve updated mine. Just go into the bios and select the usb stick you’ve put the files on as bootable device. It all worked perfect. No issues during or afterwards.

what bios number do you have now ?
there is a mistake here i guess bec 5.08.00 is refering to AMI ROM Tool flasher program – AFUEFI not the bios itself !the bios i have on my tablet is :
Currently Chuwi CWI520:
Project version: C122.606 x64
Build date: 01/26/2016April 5, 2016 at 5:40 am #32053Yes, I noticed the very same thing..
April 5, 2016 at 8:19 am #32069Still that’s a much newer version than mine so I’m going to flash it. Cana only improve things right. But still the words, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” comes to mind.

True, true. But it’s fixed now and so is my microsd issue which was why I was trying to update the bios in the first place. But I got lucky, now to flash my Chuwi Hi12 🙂
