Low current isn’t your primary concern with regards to Li-on battery life. High voltage and overcharging are the worst for things for the batteries, because of the heat they are exposed to. Maybe putting a thermal pad on the battery will help, but we may have to hold the tablet with owen gloves then :/
February 2, 2017 at 8:40 am #61425Hello,
I bought the ivolver with 2 cables recommended on this forum. When I connect my tablet, I see the light igniting and going out and the tablet doesn’t charge. Would you have an idea on the reason of this problem?
Before ordering Anker I prefer to make sure that the problem comes from this charger.
February 2, 2017 at 1:18 pm #61435Maybe it’s not the charger but the cables?
I bought this one: https://www.amazon.de/Anker-PowerLine-Ladefunktion-inklusive-ChromeBook/dp/B01EMIIFCU/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1486041344&sr=8-23&keywords=anker+usb+c+kabel
It says it is USB C 3.1 but I hadn’t had the opportunity to test transfer speeds, but charging in conjunction with the Anker charger works fine.
But beware, I couldn’t find the one specified as 3.1 on their website.
February 2, 2017 at 3:28 pm #61441I bought your cable and this one that we advised to me on this forum, <span id=”productTitle” class=”a-size-large”>AUKEY Câble USB C à USB C 2M (</span>
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01DF64MVI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
Same result and it’s annoying 🙁
February 2, 2017 at 4:38 pm #61442Then you should return the iVoler and get yourself the anker.
25€ is the cheapest I’ve ever seen it being sold.
February 2, 2017 at 7:19 pm #61454iEC Type-C USB 3.0 Hub with Charging Port with 4K HDMI and Power Delivery works with my cube i7 book, I don’t have usb-c charger so can’t try that one, but usb and hdmi working fine https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01BBG33DC/ref=pe_386171_51767411_TE_dp_1 Ps. I’m about to buy usb-c charger, which should I get? Ivoler 75w or this https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01C847NUK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3VIZVBY06QYHB 60W Anker with powerdelivery? Edit. I ordered Innergie-PowerGear-USB-C-45-Adapter, I will inform you if it works, it supports PD 12v/3A. I won’t use stock charger at all because it’s rated at 12v/2A.
I’m also getting the Innergie since it got a good rating in gtrusted and by Nathan K (although it doesn’t do 9V which we will not use probably).
February 2, 2017 at 7:52 pm #61459I had thought to replace the battery with this by 13000mha do you compatible? it’s possible ?
February 2, 2017 at 11:04 pm #61473Please let us know if you try this battery, or if you get a different one, and how it goes for you. That battery does look close to me.I had read on xda where @Wootever, who is on techtablets forum too, had attempted to change a battery out on a cube stylus and didn’t have a close enough match and it didn’t work. I haven’t heard of anyone replacing a battery yet, but it is a valuable topic, so Good Luck! let us know
February 3, 2017 at 12:08 am #61474Please someone can confirm this? i think its good idea try it.
February 4, 2017 at 5:20 pm #61597I had thought to replace the battery with this by 13000mha do you compatible? it’s possible ? https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32617759344.html#autostay
That battery claims to be almost 3 times the capacity of the original one while using the same chemistry (Li-Po) and having the same size. In other words, that’s impossible. You’d be lucky if it had as much capacity as the original battery.
May I ask why are you looking into this? If yours is broken, perhaps cube might want to sell you a replacement.
By the way, I received the Innergie charger. Works and charges the tablet (Cube Mix Plus) at around the same intensity (mA) than the original one, while draining less power (22 W instead of 30W) from the wall socket (measured using a kill-a-watt).

Come on! The name of the charger is in this page, a few posts earlier.
February 5, 2017 at 11:36 am #61632Not on this page, you have to do a bit of bactracking to find the model. It would be easier for everyone to post the original link instead of the “funny” one, including you 🙂
