Hi guys, today i bought an ssd m.2 (WD BLUE 500gb) and i added this in my ezbook 3 pro, after i did this, i decided to format the eMMc and install Windows 10 on the ssd, but when i tried to install it there was a problem, the ssd wasn’t in the bios’ boot menu, so the OS didn’t start, the bios is still locked and is the version 12/05/17, i never updated that. pls help me, for me now is a sorta of challenge install windows on the ssd, thank u all
ehm… the real problem is that i can’t start the pc with the ssd, the boot menu don’t show the ssd, but the pc show me the ssd everywhere, i could install there my program, but i cant install windows on it, and i would install windows on it
Run the tool and after selecting the USB stick you want to use it will automatically download the latest Win 10 installation files to the USB and make it bootable. then just boot the Ezbook with the usb and install windows on your ssd.
I don’t think the ssd will show up in the boot order options in the bios until it has a bootable partition on there.
I’m in the same boat as you (Need to do fresh install of Win 10) but for different reasons.
