Linux Kernel 4.20 is officially out. The touchpads of our F7s are finally officially supported. No need for custom kernels anymore. 🙂
nice! I’m guessing you are using Ubuntu or LinuxMint? I read on the manjaro forum that Manjaro supported this even with kernel 4.18 and 4.19.
Will ubuntu run out of the box on the F7? With touchpad?
yes, just make sure you use kernel 4.20. I’m on ubuntu budgie 18.04.01 and everything seems to work fine.
you can use the app ukuu to easily update your kernel.
