March 27, 2016 at 1:29 am #30971I was in the same problem, and simply updating the BIOS has been fixed.
I checked the speed of reading and writing is even better than those specified by the SDCardAttachments:

My X98 (A5C8) has deleted all Android zone and only use Windows 10. 46Gb free after reinstall on “C” drive.March 27, 2016 at 11:34 pm #31078I was in the same problem, and simply updating the BIOS has been fixed. I hoped that and installed the Bios “Teclast-X98-Plus-Dual-OS-A5C8-Bios-update-v3.zip”
Update was fine but my card isn’t working under WIN10
Tried several cards from several producer, nothing….
the most mysterious is, that my sd cards worked for about 3 weeks without problems and after I did a failed try of making a nandroid backup within the ANDROID-Partition, it ends working?
Can someone understand this???
Is there anywhere a newer BIOS-Update than that I have done???

Ty, i had already ordered a genuine Samsung 64GB Evo from Amazon, it didnt work (, I’m running the latest version of Windows and have the latest Bios installed, seems to me the only real safe bet is buying a class 4 Micro SD card
March 30, 2016 at 7:58 pm #31429Yesterday Update in Teclast BBS:
3月29日进度更新
第一批问题调查机器已经收到,已转交给技术同事。感谢配合台电菌工作各位~
另外关于调查召回的机器,我们确定TF卡问题以后,都会马上由总部寄回新品的,请大家放心。I seem that tech department has received a batch of X98 to make some trials, but part of the google translation is a mess.
Did someone here understand what they really say?
Thanks.
April 2, 2016 at 10:49 am #31681Same issue.
Performed the BIOS update and my Samsung EVO+ 64GB worked fine for 3-4 weeks in Windows, lately the microSD card has dissapeared.
No way trying exFat, FAT32, NTFS. Android reads it correctly.
April 2, 2016 at 1:19 pm #31690Mine is really weird guys. I have it working on windows but can’t get it working on android. Android sees my 64gb samsung evo micro sd as 1.84gb. How did you all manage to get it working on android?

Could be a fake Samsung SD card?.
I bought mine in China, downloaded from PlayStore SD Insight, it seems to be an authentic Samsung SDXC card.

April 4, 2016 at 8:07 am #31895In the last x98 plus W10 images there is a new/different driver than before.
The past driver was 10.0.10586.112, and the Intel host Sd is defined as BayTrail into the inf file.
This new driver is 10.0.10240.16515 with the same date, but the chipset is defined as SDHostIntelCherryTrail into the inf file ….
I’ve uploaded on my mega.
If you test it, please share your experience…
