Hi! How much thermal throttling it have? Asus Transformer have weaker benchmarks with a 7y30 than the worst 6y30 tested because of that…
Regards!!
December 28, 2016 at 12:30 pm #59396Right, it would be great if you could run something like geekbench and also have a look at the temps. The thermal mod was almost mandatory in the i7 book.
Thanks!
December 28, 2016 at 6:09 pm #59419Can you try a game or two such as Civilization 5 or 6, Diablo 3 or Skyrim?
December 30, 2016 at 8:46 am #59510Oh, and if he have time, he could test MGSV, Forza Horizon, Skyrim with mods, GTA V, Thief, Sims 4, Need For Speed, Cooking mama, launch 8 or 9 renders with Photoshop, open the tablet and do an internal review, a crash test, put it in a Ford T150 in the Euroncap 2017, yes. Very convenient.

Here’s the geekbench results:
CPU Benchmark: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/1474981
Compute Benchmark: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/compute/343303
SSD Score: 420
Temperature: http://imgur.com/a/PDAzu
As for the gaming/graphic etc test, I leave it for techtablets official review 🙂
December 31, 2016 at 4:38 pm #59579Thanks a lot xDragonZ!
The geekbench scores look very promising, specially computation-wise (SGEMM). Temperature looks also better than the i7 book, although I’m pretty sure that could be still improved, let’s wait for Chris’ review.
I hope you’re happy with your new tablet! Once again, thanks for sharing 🙂
January 1, 2017 at 5:50 pm #59644Excelent results! This looks like I5-6200U! Searching in geekbench web is the best result for a 7y30.
We will wait to official review for gaming tests for a long time thermal throtling.
Next week arrives mine! 🙂
January 5, 2017 at 6:42 pm #59905Hi, does the i7 book keyboard work with this new tablet? I hope you can verify this, as I was unable to find a keyboard on gearbest for the cube mix plus, so I ordered the cube i7 book keyboard. Let me know, since it looks like I’ll get the kb before the tablet, and I don’t want to miss the return window if it isn’t compatible!
Thanks!
January 5, 2017 at 8:27 pm #59944It’s been already asked, and it seems it works.

Thanks for the first benchmarks. I got mine from Banggood and the free post so it’s still about week way from arriving. That Geekbench 4 score is very good, better than my Core M3-7Y30 on my X5 Pro and that has 8GB of RAM. This I take it must be running the RAM 1866Mhz as the X5 Pro has it clocked to 1600Mhz.
Temps, they look okay. Does the back get really warm to the touch? If it does they must have used a thermal pad between the heatsink and rear alloy housing.

Yes it’s the same, just in different color.

Looking forward for your official review, for my scores I not sure it’s accurate or not.
If I not wrong there is 4x 1GB RAM for i7book, for mix plus it’s 2x 2GB RAMYes the back panel will get really hot if you do resources intensive task, but it looks like the temperature for normal web browsing is lower than i7 book (back panel: not that warm, cpu temp avg: 40-50’c) I don’t dare to teardown my mix plus, did it for my i7 book and now I burned my chip for my careless mistakes
January 7, 2017 at 7:58 pm #60055Does the tablet feel quite heavy?
The specs say it weighs over 710g
January 8, 2017 at 11:05 am #60063What is your battery life like? If it’s somewhat decent, I might give it a try. I’m very interested in getting myself a chinese tablet – especially the Cube Mix Plus sounds promising, but I could nowhere find an indeep test…
Thank you!
