May 13, 2016 at 4:24 pm #37150Do you start from fastboot mode ? you have to push both volume – & start at the same time to enter fastboot mode.
May 13, 2016 at 4:29 pm #37152Yup, even I’ve even unlocked the bootloader multiple times, but as soon as I start to flash it changes from unlocked to verified… I don’t get the problem when I use mireteks flash tool, but unfortunately it doesnt seem to work with remix os…

As i remember I just booted to Android and connected to pc then flashed
May 13, 2016 at 6:12 pm #37167litte update, I got it working and it runs sweet. I’m starting to get an idea of how it works but its still a learning curve. This is what I did.
- Extract the zip from the first post on this thread to a folder.
- Install the intel flash tool light 5.5.2 from https://01.org/android-ia/downloads/intel-platform-flash-tool-lite
- Install Mireks ROM V3 but dont setup the tablet, just allow it to boot to the setup screen and leave it a second.
- Open the flash tool, click the browes button, navigate to the folder where you extracted the zip fie from setup 1. It should auto select the flash.json file. Make sure update is selected.
- Connect the tablet with USB to the computer and it should show it connected.
- Press the update button and the tool will reboot the device, flash the ROM and reboot the device again. Now you just need to leave it, mine took about 10 minutes to boot the first time.
That was it, once it booted and I did the setup it has been friggin brilliant. Smoother than Mireks ROM, really good battery life, especially on standby. You might see an android appear on the screen the first time it boots after the device has been flashed. Its the android with a spinning cube. Just leave it, Remix OS takes a while to get going but it will get going. Seems like Remix does not like a dirty flash so doing this means your user data has been cleared.
i’m currently doing exactly like you. The tablet just rebooted…. suspens …. [music like the one when a giant lezard is about to eat the heros] …. And BOOTLOADER ERROR CODE 1… “This partition does not appear to contain an Android boot image”… Fuck. The lezard won. will updates when i will have corrected this mess.
May 13, 2016 at 6:37 pm #37169After that i had to flash recovery… After i flashed, an upside-down droid with robotics bowels ouside it’s belly showed… And… AND remix loaded. YEAH… Victory.
Next step : root.
May 13, 2016 at 6:44 pm #37173In fact, it doesn’t like dirty flash in order to start the setup…
And my issue with hacker keyboard is over. The touch feedback is perfect.
May 13, 2016 at 7:06 pm #37176Anyone get a successful flash but then just get the RemixOS start up logo after reboot? Been like that for probably 30 minutes now.
May 14, 2016 at 11:19 am #37281Success! I used the flash tools provided in Spzjuliens stickied thread! =)
If anyone else have problems let me know!

I followed these instructions exactly and was able to install Remix OS successfully. I think it’s important to make sure you don’t do anything except the bare minimum after first installing mirek’s ROM. The first time I tried it, I had already been using the tablet for a day or two…and the Remix OS hung up. I completely redid mirek v3, and then quickly did the Remix install and then it worked.
