Try first to restore only the non Windows partitions of the tablet.
If Your tablet is now boots into Android, then perform a full restore of Android in the settings. I read somewhere that this could perform a new Android ID.
There are Id changers for Android in the Playstore. But it must be rooted for doing that.
For Windows it is easier. There may be an issue with the system drive ID ( for the local network). This ID can be changed with Minitool Partition wizard.
If there is a Windows key from a former Windows installation, that does not matter.
You also can perform a clean Windows installation with the newest version 1809.
Before doing that, backup the non Microsoft drivers with “double driver” utility and restore them after installing W10.
I hope You are successfully, let me know.
December 13, 2018 at 6:50 pm #149120Windows works fine.
I already made a factory reset of android via recovery mode, but android is still not booting. Something had been changed when I booted a linux stick. When I let Macrium choose all Windows partitions to restore, it shows one which is called ANDROID. Is it the dual boot partition and should I restore it too?
December 14, 2018 at 4:24 am #149126Sorry I do not know.
I advice to restore the full Macrium image. But before booting into Android ( if possible ) switch off Your local WiFi or go out of reach with the tablet. After booting delete Your Google account on the tablet, then switch local WiFi on again. Create a second Google account to be shure of avoiding interferecencies. May be You make a Android restore again. Before doing that download a Android ID reader from the Playstore and compare ID with the other tablet. If there are diffenrencies, I think You could switch back to Your old Google account.
I hope You will success.Do not forget what I wrote about possible Windows interferencencies.
Let me know what happend.
December 14, 2018 at 6:07 am #149127Restore all Android partitions from Macrium image. To make shure that Macrium does not change any start- or end sector number of android partitions, disable the “trim” function somewhere in the advanced options of the restore dialog.
For Windows partitions the Trim Funktion should be on!
December 14, 2018 at 8:19 am #149129Sorry,
Delete all partitions. Then restore the full Macrium image without “trim”. So all partitions will be placed correctly. Later, if You are satisfied with the results, means Android is booting, restore the Windows partitions only again with the trim Funktion enabled.
December 14, 2018 at 12:46 pm #149137Plus if you want help with partition related stuff it’s best to post a screen capture of your partition setup so people can see what you’re talking about.
probably screenshots of the pertinent Macrium Reflect screens could help too.December 14, 2018 at 2:11 pm #149143Ok I try to help

Then click “OK” and after that click “finish” to start the restore operation.
You can try first to restore without this trim stuff.
Normally it should be on, and is used when You restore an image from a non ssd drive onto a ssd.
Normally the trim feature should be on.

I did it on my Teclast x98 air 3g and it worked perfectly.
Because Your Windows is still working, You can make first a Macrium backup of your defective device before doing anything else. So Your Windows is saved. Anyway You can extract all your data from the Macrium image later.
!! If You perform restore the the Macrium image from the healthy tablet onto the defective one, and if something goes wrong, You have to download the original software for your tablet model and reload the tablet with it. Look at the backside of the tablet to find the exact model description. post a photo of the backside here, so I can help You to find the Software !!
Setting up the original software for Your tablet means Windows will be ereased while loading the original Android. Then setup also the original Windows system( chinese! ). But we will later replace the system- and the recovery drive with yours.
December 18, 2018 at 9:19 am #149211Please HELP! I tried to paste a written answer here, but I only get:
ERROR! Your reply cannot be created at this time.
WHAT’S THAT???
December 18, 2018 at 10:09 am #149213No idea, but please do not post peanuts like that. Reload the page, try again, and if error, then try later or write it into the box.
December 18, 2018 at 1:32 pm #149233I tried it already, not being a fool. And being unable to paste a long dedicated reply is not peanuts.
But ok, I will cut it short: Thanks, but that way to restore is quite elaborate and risky without exactly knowing why the linux stick damaged a specific android partition and which precisely. Cannot afford to ruin a working Windows at this time. But thanks again.
