    do you have any pictures? it’s probably just the thermal paste hardening, you can try wriggling it a little and if it moves it should be safe to twist it and ‘force’ it off.

    Turns out there are tiny clasps all around the heatsink. I had to stab into them a little to loosen their grip and gently pried apart the heatsink
