    anyone know how to remove the copper heatsink of the surbook motherboard? there’s a youtube video for surbook mini but it’s not the same method for the surbook, the mini just has screws holding the heatsink but not the big surbook

    do you have any pictures? it’s probably just the thermal paste hardening, you can try wriggling it a little and if it moves it should be safe to twist it and ‘force’ it off.

    Turns out there are tiny clasps all around the heatsink. I had to stab into them a little to loosen their grip and gently pried apart the heatsink
