Teclast T10 – Lock Screen problem

Hi,

I have a Teclast T10 with the Slim-Fit Folio Case Cover with Back Case from Teclast also.

I have a problem with this cover since the beginning. I’m just writing now, because I search everywhere, but I can’t solve the issue.

Normally, when I close the cover the tablet should suspend, or block, but no it stays on. So the front camera don’t block the tablet. But when I want to use the tablet and I fold the cover to the back, the tablet suspend or block. So it is the back camera that is blocking the tablet?

There is any solution for this?

I have got the exact same problem and it is driving me nuts.

As soon as I flip the cover open and flip it to the back, the tablet shuts down.

The front camera should not lock the tablet.

Hi, this has nothing to do with the cameras.  It makes use of the hall sensor and the magnet in the case.  I had exactly the same problem with a phone and once I changed the case for a different one the problem went away.  I have a smart case that I got from Gearbest and it works flawlessly so I suggest a different case, I also wonder if the magnet is in ‘backwards’ in your current case as this would explain the problem you have.  I would suggest getting a sharp blade and removing the magnet and turning it over and testing, you can always use some tape or glue to close the hole

Thank you for your tips. I already ordered a patch of mu-metal which I will apply to the backside of the tablet where the magnet is located in the hope that it redirects the magnetic field sufficiently to not trigger the sensor anymore.

If this does not work I will check if turning the magnet around will help or remove it altogether.
