    1. I had the sound issue on an old Build of the firmware (1.03, I now have 1.07) but it was working on Windows so that’s odd.
    2. The weak WiFi appears to be a hardware issue with the tablets in general. There are a few guides on how to make it better but it requires soldering.
    3.  https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/x80-plus-android-os-only/ Should work with the Pro, give it a try

Hi! I just received my x80 Pro from GearBest as well, like yours, it is E3E9.  I booted to Android and ran the OTA update.  I don’t know if that will help you, but it is sort of a generic thing to try, if you haven’t already.

I also have extremely poor wifi reception.  I’m still setting up apps on the Android side, and space permitting, I will install a wifi analyzer.  My non-number metric is that, inside both my phone and the x80 Pro connect without issue.  If I go out to the patio, the phone is fine, but the tablet can’t even detect the network.

This forum is such a great resource.  I will post more as I get the tablet set up and work through the issues.  So far, I’m not having issues with sound, but this is just on the Android side.  I’ve booted up Windows, but I’m expecting it will be more work to get set up, so, for me, one at a time.

Overall, I like the tablet and think Teclast did a good job putting together an inexpensive tablet.  I also ordered the case at the same time and they both arrived from China to the US in about 21 days.  May must be a good time of the year to order.

Take care, and I hope you get your tablet issues resolved.

    R
