Ok i managed to flash my tablet with only android os on it with 53GB partition.

E-guru thanks for your help but you had a mistake. I dιdn’t choose ”update” on configuration as this option gave me a clear android with 17bg partition and the windows still installed. I have to choose “blank” or “recover” option on configuration. That option deleted everything and gave me a clean installation of android with 53gb.

I have found this thread and helped me a lot.

Resize android partition the easy way ! for X98 serie !

But something strange happened during the flash procedure. It stopped at 81% and the bar was red! And my Pc windows gave me a message with fastboot error!!! You know what that means…a bricked device. But for another strang reason i powered on my tablet and after 3 minutes stucked on teclast logo it booted normally. Until now everything is working just great.Camera back and front are ok,OTG ok, touch is better than before, wifi super speedy and away a lot from my router. So i guess i made it. Thanks again for your help eguru.

Glad you got it all working soulfunkdj. Thanks for the feedback about the flash option that needs to be used when changing the Android partition size. I’ll add that to my notes.

Hello to all and happy new year !

I have two questions for my C2E3 device

As posted in my previous Sept 26 2016 ‘s mail, I am the (unlucky) owner of a Teclast x98 Plus II (ID : C2E3/Android only : 2GB RAM +32 GB user).

As time has passed, I have two questions for which you may have now  the answers :

    • A way to reinstall only OTA application which has never worked ( !)
    • I saw a new Android version for this device available but I would like to know before going deeper if this would improve the wi-fi sensitivity which is a pain (I am obliged to use a repeater above 3 meters…). More generally, do you know what improvements are expected from this updated version ?

I made myself a promise : never buy again a Teclast device as support is none. No answer from them despites reminders !!! As a contrary, Chuwi support was very good.

Thanks in advance for your kind support & best regards,

    Jean

My model is C2D6 THE 64GB version. I have no problem with wifi. My android version is 5.1.1 and i downloaded it from Teclast’s site. With the preinstalled android version i didn’t have also the Teclast’s OTA update application. But after flashing the latest rom from teclast’s site i have again the OTA Update application. You should try and flash the new rom as it may fix your wifi problem. In the worst situation your wifi will have the same results as now. So try it. I am a very very happy user. My only complaint is that Mmy tablet is not supporting wired OTG controller to play games. At least didn’t recognized my xbox360 controller. Maybe it supports bluetooth connection controllers?Anyone tried it?

I don’t have an xbox360 controller to try but I haven’t found any USB device that won’t work with the C2D4. Using a powered hub, I have a 1TB HD, GPS, Easycap UVC device, Logitech kybd/mouse receiver dongle, and GSM dongle all working together fine.

I know that all these are working with OTG very good. My point was if any controllers are working too,not only xbox’s controllers.

I don’t know about this man. Why don’t you try to flash windows only?

I had dual boot turned off.  I opened my X98 Pro, disconnected the battery…waited a minute and reconnected the battery.  The unit started to show the dual boot option again.

NOW I INSTALLED THE DESKTOP WINDOWS 10 ISO IN MY TABLET IT IS WORKING WITH THE DRIVERS OF TECLAST. BUT THE TOUCH IS NOT WORKING, THEN I INSTALLED (KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C (Touch Screen Driver). IT IS WORKING BUT NOT EXACTLY. IT IS WORKING AROUND 1 CENTIMETER, ANY BODY CAN HELP ME?

I downloaded succesfully windows 10 from teclast’s site. Try downloading one part  and when finished try the other part. I also used idm for downloading (i don’t know if this is the reason but it worked fine). Try again.
