Hello everyone!
For my Cube i7 Book I would like to purchase a tempered glass screen-protector, but I have some questions I’d like answered first. I searched for topics regarding the screen protector and read the advice to use the version for the Cube i7 Stylus, as the screen was the same. However, I am curious whether the pen works with this screen-protector.
Thank you in advance!
January 9, 2017 at 12:54 pm #60151Yes, the protector will not interfere with the pen at all.
What I would like to know is will it be ok with the official keyboard/cover? Does it close ok with the extra thickness of the tempered glass?
January 9, 2017 at 2:14 pm #60162I haven’t thought of that, but that could be a problem for me as well considering I use the keyboard too. It does not look like there is a lot of space for the screen-protector if it covers the whole screen. Besides this there is literally no space for the screen-protector at the bottom, where the keyboard and the tablet meet. Is there anyone who has both the tempered glass screen-protector and the keyboard who can shed some light on this issue?
January 10, 2017 at 3:30 am #60186Bought a beautiful tempered glass from China, took less than two weeks and was easier than any protector I’ve ever done. I even gingerly took it off and put it back on again to get it better situated. Soo good! http://www.ebay.com/itm/122081652900?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=421115541446&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
January 17, 2017 at 9:18 pm #60585I bought a super tempered glass, it is better than the plastic one. Fit perfect also with the keyboard, whit glass it is totaly eliminated the little free play between screen and keyboard
Very good!
January 17, 2017 at 11:02 pm #60586The plastic one is garbage, I may say… I think I’ll buy one of those for myself.

Did you remove the plastic preinstalled protector?

Just like in that one scene from blockbuster movie called “Requiem for a dream” it’s best to go glass to glass.
January 22, 2017 at 7:22 am #60792Is it anti-glare? I need an anti-glare screen protector, external light bothers me a lot.

I don’t think so, it’s this one. http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-accessories/pp_340485.html?wid=21
Plus, it’s not made for this tablet…
January 22, 2017 at 2:20 pm #60799Only protective film, but no tempered glass.
The Cube i7 Stylus, Cube i7 Book and the Cube Mix Plus have the same 10,6″ Microsoft Surface 2 Screen.
So it really kinda was made for this tablet…
January 22, 2017 at 9:45 pm #60803Thnaks guys! My previous tablet was with an anit-glare film, not tempered glass. I think eBay has some other kinds of films, I’ll take a look.

Then how comes mine doesn’t fit?
January 24, 2017 at 7:11 am #60848Because you probably ordered god knows what kind of garbage, but the tempered glass you linked from gearbest fits mine like a glove.
You sure you didn’t buy one for the original cube i7 or the remix version which have a bigger 11,6″ display?
Stop spreading false rumours.
January 24, 2017 at 7:41 am #60850The funny think is that below at question & answers they say it won’t fit Cube i7 Book.
