Touchpad not working after W10 Creators Update

Hi guys,

Last week I updated the W10 of my i7 book to the Creators Update. However, after connecting the keyboard dock, only the gestures are working. The touchpad itself is no longer working.

I went to the device manager and it shows that the HID compliant mouse had driver problems. Then, I tried to uninstall it (removing the driver from PC). Now, it is not even detecting the HID compliant mouse anymore. The gestures are still working anyway…

Are any of you also facing the same issue? Do you guys have any suggestion how to proceed? Could you post here the mouse driver? Thanks in advance!

I updated to creator’s edition too, you lose drivers. Look in the download section here on techtablets for the cube i7 book drivers.  https://techtablets.com/downloads-drivers-roms/

If you can’t get it to show the device without drivers in device manager because you uninstalled it, try to do a system restore. If you don’t have any restore points, you might have to do a system reset from settings. system restore is from the control panel/system/system protection section. Good Luck It’s hard sometimes to pull out the right driver and install it, and you may have to go to the properties of the driverless device to the details tab and hit the drop down and get the hardware ID. Then you do an online search and that can narrow down the device driver from the cube i7 book drivers folder from here.

I didn’t have that problem, I think I’m lucky. Touchpads love to lose their drivers.
