Tweaking Ezbook 3l pro 14" (overclock, ssd, linux, drivers)

Can you give me some recommendations how to improve my laptop please?

I ordered a new ssd: Crucial MX500 CT500MX500SSD4 500 GB Internes SSD (3D NAND, SATA, M.2 Type 2280SS)

I’d like to install linux (ubuntu/lubuntu) parallel to windows

Grub doesn’t work so I need syslinux or rEFInd – any recommendations what is the easiest way to get ubuntu/lubuntu drive with syslinux/rEFInd boot?

Anything else to be aware to not break the system during linux install?

I intend to keep windows on eMMC, do I need to be aware of anything concerning dual boot and linux? how should I setup linux boot drive – should it be on eMMC or SSD?

Are there any available tools for overclocking? (I don’t care for game graphics, just normal office tasks perfomance)

Alternative bios/bios tweaks?

Any way to make display brighter? (the pannel is great but a bit to dark to work outside)

okay, 2280 ssd doesnt’t fit in 3l pro, will get a 2240 or 2260

see pic attached – looks different from model without ‘L’
