Hi, I’ve been absent for a few weeks, came back and saw this great development, TWRP for the Teclast tablet Pro. Could someone tell me if this will work also on my X98 Air 3G(C5J6)

probably not, but try it if and find out..

don’t flash the recovery to your tablet, just boot into it using the instructions on the 4th post..

then if it doesn’t work, you haven’t damaged your tablet as when you turn it off and on it will boot it normal built in partitions.

    HI

I did install  twrp 2.8.7 on my x16 power

but I don’t have touch response but it workes with a wireless mouse.

    I did a backup ( android only i presume)

Do you know how to get touch working??

What roms can be installed on Teclast tablet? No luck with Mirek’s rom and twrp

    Hi

Thanks for the custom recovery, but i have a question. Is that normal that after trying a reboot into recovery, i get a droid with open belly and warning logo?

I need to turnoff – boot into dnx – fastboot flash twrp, each time i have to activate recovery.

I thought that v2.8.7.0 was hard installed.

Only if you hard install it using

    fastboot flash recovery TWRP-2.8.7.0_teclast_x98pro-b2.img

then you can boot into it with any “reboot to recovery” mod..

You haven’t flashed the TWRP to the recovery partition then as you are rebooting to the stock android recovery..

    You need to use

    fastboot boot Loader.efi

once that loader has booted use

    fastboot flash recovery TWRP-2.8.7.0_teclast_x98pro-b2.img

Then you should be able to reboot and get to the recovery using your app..

Yeah thank you for writing the same thing for the third time, so i write mine again too : reboot into recovery doesn’t work. I’m stuck with a wallpaper droid open belly with red warning sign.

It’s not my first device that i use to flash things on, i do that since galaxy s, and i do know how to read a tutorial.

    App recovery reboot doesn’t work

    adb recovery reboot doesn’t work

    Loader recovery boot doesn’t work

Recovery is not working it’s like it has nothing to boot not even stock recovery. So now i don’t have any recovery on my tab.

And like i said in my first post

I need to turnoff – boot into loader – fastboot flash twrp, each time i have to use recovery.

Well, it is an issue with your device then, as as you can see in the thread, it works for everyone else..

Neo use rashr to flash I didn’t even use PC to flash this recovery just go to play store search rashr download it . after opening the app It will said you to reboot into recovery to check the partition after going to recovery mode force shut down the tab by pressing power button then again boot into android and open rashr and flash the recovery mode using it. BTW you need to b rooted and change the TWRP-2.8.7.0_teclast_x98pro-b2.img to recovery.IMG. I tested it works for sure try it
