It should work, I used a 65W Ivolver Type-C charger on mine with no issues. Worked fine and charged it even faster than D/C in.

September 13, 2017 at 4:51 pm #72076Hello,
For me is not working at all, tested the hub with an android phone so it works, what settings do I have to enable on bios? Could it be the drivers?
September 25, 2017 at 9:17 am #72625also in the same predicament …i cant project thinking of going the miracast way
October 5, 2017 at 4:38 pm #73065So it seems like we are many with that issue. Its really weird. I really guess is it something software related or we all have faulty hardware? :/
Does anyone have any idea on how we can fix it? Its really a bummer to have a tablet capable of charging via usb c and have video output which we can’t use…
Thanks in advance
October 5, 2017 at 6:32 pm #73067Can someone with working type-c charging and video output upload all their bios settings & bios details (version)? I noticed in mine that there were some options for thunderbolt and for type-c but even after enabling them, I can’t get them to work.
Thanks in advance.October 6, 2017 at 6:47 pm #73100In “Platforms”, Type C is Disabled
In “Thunderbolt”, => fully disabled
(and everything is working here)

November 7, 2017 at 10:22 am #74525hi, i have the exact same problem. I bought the xiaomi 45W charger that support PD. Theoretically it should work. But it doesnt work on my mix plus. When i plugged it in, the battery notification says not charging and the battery discharges faster. Any solution for this problem Spyros G?

I wish I knew any solution. It’s a shame that it does not work, two main reason I got this tablet are Type-C charging and video out and none of that works unfortunately…
I am thinking that maybe it’s something in bios, maybe old version or something, but I can’t find the correct bios to flash (either stock from someone that have type c working, or even any updated version)…
November 7, 2017 at 4:10 pm #74541why cant the company come out and tell us what their plan was with the much hyped type C

The type-c port supports both charging and video out and that’s confirmed from many buyers, although seems like its not working for many of us…
And their after-sales support does not exist at all which is sad to say the least.

Type-C implementation is very bad overall. Some chargers and dongles have been confirmed to be working (I use the Innergie for charging, and a satechi USB-C hub for HDMI out).
Regarding after sales, it’s a little Chinese brand that sells via Chinese websites. I don’t think that support is included in the price, sadly. And my battery is dying and I’ll probably be unable to use this tablet in 2 months.January 21, 2018 at 2:20 pm #77432In “Platforms”, Type C is Disabled In “Thunderbolt”, => fully disabled (and everything is working here)
