In “Platforms”, Type C is Disabled In “Thunderbolt”, => fully disabled (and everything is working here)
I just did this and it works ….
happy with my cube …its been a long 8 months of frustrations …am now feeling like I have a new laptop …next thing now is buying the cable for charging any suggestions from eBay through China (we can only import stuff from China here in Kenya )
Glad that it worked for you. Unfortunately this was not working for me and as video output is very important for me, I bought a Cube Thinker with a proper Type-C implementation and I’m planning to sell my Mix Plus…
January 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm #77472personally using this charger: https://www.anker.com/products/variant/PowerPort%2B-5-Ports-USB-C-/A2053111
and paired with the following cable: https://www.anker.com/products/variant/PowerLine%2B-3ft-USB-C-to-USB-C-2.0-/A8187091
What I am more interested to know is if anyone had actually ever paired the tablet with an eGPU device via thunderbolt
February 16, 2018 at 12:21 am #79521I got a 72W USB C power delivery adapter, better have an overhead with no-name brand chargers. It can only power the tablet, it does not charge the battery. I measured it at the wall and it’s uses 15 watts on idle and in games it can get up to 40W (!), but it still doesn’t charge the battery. It just prevents it from going down. The standard 30W round plug adapter charges and powers the tablet at the same time. I use the BIOS settings mentioned in earlier in the thread.
February 27, 2018 at 10:20 am #98629I bought the uGreen 30W charger for around 17 dollars I think:
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Ugreen-USB-C-Charger-Fast-Mobile-Phone-Charger-USB-Travel-Charger-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S8-S8/301635_32821405437.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.5d627faedrcNdSWorks like a charm. Charges the battery in every situation, it’s also a solid good brand. I advice to always buy a little bit more expensive cables from a well known brand.
