I use the windows installation tools to delete the partitions.
Also make sure you copy the drivers files and touchsetting.gt on the flash drive, you will need those files after you have install windows.
May 29, 2016 at 5:37 pm #39052But how did you get to download the original teclast rom (windows + android), I have tried to download it from a Chinese site but i could not because i need an account to download it.
May 29, 2016 at 7:37 pm #39065I do not have it yet (had the same problems), but i asked in this forum and Eko is so kind and will provide the files
(see http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/teclast-x98-dual-boot-recovery-image-posted-teclast-site/page/3/ ).May 30, 2016 at 9:22 pm #39204Ok, i managed to install a fresh windwos 10.
however there are still some issues:
- couldn’t install Intel AVStream camera
- none of the cameras works
- no 3G available (no driver)
- no app to boot directly to Android
So would it be possible to get the doubledriver backup from A6C9 as well as the boot to android app ?
May 30, 2016 at 9:48 pm #39208Yes i do have the windows app that lets you boot from windows to android, I have two of them but only one seems to work. The one that is working my antivirus software is warning me about the file, I have scan the file with virus total but virus total says the file is clean, so i can only assume its a false positive. I will upload both of them for you.
Anyway though how is your windows installation going?

I never tried the 3G function but i assume it should work.
Sorry but I do not know about doubledriver backup from A6C9.
Did you get to activate windows?

Have you guys managed to find a solution?
I’m also currently uploading the Mircosoft Windows System image for A6C9 (Made using windows media creation tool).
May 30, 2016 at 10:02 pm #39213The installation would be fin if i had 3G and the cameras.
Maybe I will flash the original image, do a driver and key backup and after that do a fresh install.
Or maybe the drivers of A6C9 will be posted here..
BTW: the touchsettings file gives an amazing improvement in responsiveness

I’d recommend tempered glass, but not sure about anti glare.
May 30, 2016 at 10:10 pm #39220Its was just the windows side of tablet that would not boot so I just download Windows 10 from Microsoft and the drivers from this site.
The android side of tablet always work.
May 30, 2016 at 10:11 pm #39221Windows activation worked without doing anything.
Thanks Eko, I already downloaded it 🙂
After a reboot, the cameras are working and 3G is also available – nice 😀
If everything stays stable, I will keep this installation and go on with installing mireks android rom.
Thanks a lot guys!

That just sounds like you have lost some drivers. Is the Android system effected?
