Just got the A5C8 version of this tablet and the first thing I did was get rid of Android and install a fresh copy of windows. After a lot of trouble I managed to get the the official WINPE to work and got windows re-installed, but now it wont activate. I’ve tried a couple of methods to extract the key, but I kept getting the key that Windows already had (based on the last few characters the settings lets you see). I then tried the method on this page
How to get the Windows product key without using third party software
which gave me a different key, but windows wont accept that key.
Have I messed this up and somehow lost the windows key this tablet came with?
Also I didn’t get a charger with this and when I tried a 5v2a one I have it will charge a little bit and then the charge rate drops to zero. Anyone know any decent chargers I can buy in the UK that will be better than what I’ve got?
Thanks

I guess you forgot to read every guide on the internet saying you have to extract your Windows 10 key BEFORE removing your preinstalled Windows 10.
As mentioned in the first post here X98 Plus Tricks/Tips
There are some less legit ways to activate your Windows without the key. Search the net for KMSnano or KMSpico. At least it will make your fully legal Windows 10 activated by less legal means.
The charging… Do you use an OTG hub at the same time as charging? In that case, it’s Teclasts which forgot a setting in their locked BIOS making charging while using OTG not functioning. It starts charging for a few seconds, then just stop. Charging directly without OTG should work fine.
It’s mentioned in more or less every thread about the X98 Plus in any forum, here, XDA, etc… just a quick search away.

Annoyingly I think I managed to find the one guide that didn’t mention anything about backing up the key, but anyway thanks for your suggestion.

Yes I did know about the problem with otg charging hubs (I’ve been looking though all the threads trying to find if someone found a working one), the problem I’m having is with the charger plugged directly into the tablet. As far as I can tell it is charging a little when the screen is off, but not when I’m actually using the tablet, so I would prefer if I could get a better charger.

Its a digital rights activation.
