// Havent done an clean install yet, but the greyd-out handwriting also is the case on mine, if I aint in english, if i turn on english it becomes active again.. if a driver or an update can fix it, likely if it exist..:-)
February 1, 2016 at 12:15 am #24562//deleted old post hanging ‘ precurius-sitesystem under firefox osx, where once reply popping up after numerous hours // deleted..
Will use this fail_post from earlyer today, for relevance..
Recieved an usb 3.0 card reader and tested the x2 ports with an 14us shipped 64GB kingston gearbest microsd card and got these values on dm5.x64..
The slower values is the same card but in the original tf slot that sadly is on 2.0 bandwitch and with dm3x64 version..
Its this 3.0 fellow that is valid for up to 512gb card, and I gave 2.65US shipped and with the price in mind, ts an solid item…http://www.aliexpress.com/item/OV-USB-3-0-Micro-SD-Reader-Max-Support-512GB-SDXC-Card-Reader-SD-Card-C307/32576810896.html
Seems quite priceattractive for stylus?.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-pcs-AAAA-4A-1-5V-LR61-MN2500-E96-GP25A-Alkaline-Single-Use-Battery-Hyper-/131486594388?hash=item1e9d363554:g:oVUAAOSw1XdUWwfZ

Thank you. Guess the handwriting recog. only works for english – in other words I missed the most obvious answer 🙂 (I use english as my system language but it’s not my native tongue, so I’ll forget the input language on non-english randomly)
February 1, 2016 at 3:14 pm #24699@jakob-rasmussen No I havent done a benchmark. And now my ssd has borke down so Im waiting for my new one to arrive later this week I hope. I will run a benchmark when I have installed it.
Im looking forward to see what you have to say about the wifi-antennas. I too was thinking that there might be a chance to solder on a usb wifi dongle to the pins on the motherboard. I hope the four pins are easy to work with.

Not sure Riley, since i havent been down that path myself, and from EU (DK) but I remember that there is a lot on some of the past pages in this thread about 4g on X2 and partically the user Hualalai have great insight into the g4 cards, and wrote about the matter, but i did notice that there was some problems with driver on win10 with Huawei me906 cards and partically when it come to the US..
i recall the E-model was for Europe, and the V for US bandwitch, but its stated on some of the earlyer pages
for the EU I got the impression that Huawei 906e worked great ewen thow funded on USB2.0 and GPS-signal got some hazzle thrue the metalcover.. but overall if Huawei ME906 4g modem is the best card atm for an upgrade for the X2 and how the range is in praksis ‘ I got no idea, and would love some insigts into this as well..
// there is some information about the matter here..http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/how-to-open-an-x2-pro-and-popular-mods/
any feedback on the sierra EM7455 or yet to early, ref 1q 2016..

February 4, 2016 at 6:42 am #24927Hi guys, I just made a clean installation but now my pen does not work. Which driver needs to be installed? I’ve already tried installing the ones from downloads but I’m not exactly sure if they were all installed properly, the touch screen works fine though.
February 4, 2016 at 3:37 pm #24964Did you use the pen before the reinstall?

February 5, 2016 at 5:27 pm #25063Hello to everyone.
First of all, thanks for your experiences and advices. I ordered a X2 Pro today, in Gearbest, with keyboard and stylus. I’ll keep you informed on the evolution of my order (hope it will not spen too much time to arrive, I chose EU warehouse for my order).
I’ll use it as it comes for a while, but I am seriously considering replacing the SSD with a bigger one.
When putting my hands on it I’ll replace the Windows and make a fresh install, hope not to have many problems 🙂
Read you.
