Thanks for it. I usually take a driver backup too, but I became cocky and thought I will find the drivers online as the GDX hardware and kionix sensor are common to many devices. Didn’t figure that it will not work and I might be one of the very few with the tablet. 😀
For the shipping part, usually this is how DHL shipping works for shippers – You go to your My DHL account and then register a package. You get a tracking number and reference number (of booking) with instructions on how to print the labels. You will print the labels and stick it to the ready package. If you can’t print then DHL bring it when they come to pick the package. DHL comes and picks package from your place the next day or whatever time they have available, depending on account type. The tracking only becomes active after DHL approves that they will accept the shipment. They reject sometimes too because of presence of Li-Ion batteries.. or due to anything hazardous. All air shipments require the battery to be fully discharged on devices. I know about this as I have sent many items abroad to friends and family. 🙂
What sellers do is that they provide the tracking in advance to the buyers. Some go ahead and make the mistake of adding the package booking reference number instead of the tracking numbers (if they are not able to print). I guess it will take atleast another 24 hours if the seller provided the number early.
September 23, 2015 at 6:56 pm #11851Also, the Cube i7 Remix glass screen guard fits well on the X2 Pro’s screen. It doesn’t fit perfectly though with 1mm on all side left (acceptable). I haven’t added the glass protector yet, just measured by keeping it on the screen. Will add after I am done opening, upgrading and modding.
The tablet comes with one regular screen guard attached to the screen and one spare in the box.
September 23, 2015 at 7:53 pm #11854Yeah I should have an update in 24 hours or so. But I have had many Ali express sellers give me fake numbers to stop it from auto canceling and processing a refund. It happens so often now and then the seller once they add the fake tracking number can take however long they want in getting it packed and shipped.
Good news on the screen guard, my i7 Stylus tempered glass protector is still on its way.
Can’t wait to get my X2 Pro, I have high hopes for it after the disastrous Onda V919 3G Core M I got.

Cube i7 Remix 11.6 inch tablet glass screen gaurd fits.. not the i7 stylus (10.6 inch). The stylus one would be 1 inch smaller. 🙂

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30September 24, 2015 at 1:08 pm #11874@the-lord Yes that’s me, and still not shipped yet. The seller has delayed it twice claiming they are waiting for the international version. I will dump the drivers once I finally get hold of my one and that should fix the issue for you. How do you find it? The keyboard does look good, but I saw in images its got a black fabric finish? Overall how do you find it? Is the screen fully laminated? My seller told me it will ship today, if it doesn’t I’m going to cancel. Tired of his lies.
I haven’t done any storage speed test for HDD or mSD on the tablet yet. I will use it a bit more in detail after I replace the SSD with a larger capacity one and after I do a heat mod. If anyone of you come across working touchpad and sensor drivers for the tablet, please let me know.
when you do the heat mod, do you think you can be so kind and take some photos on how you do that mod? Im very interested doing a heat mod my self, but have no idea what I need or what to do…
September 24, 2015 at 1:45 pm #11875Absolutely. Will post pictures of the entire process. Just waiting on my SSD to reach me. Stuck at customs right now. Sent them a letter already with all details… lets see when it reaches me.
September 24, 2015 at 2:15 pm #11876Thanks alot!
September 27, 2015 at 3:16 pm #11993I’ll do the same when I open my up. Mines finally at Hong Kong with DHL. Delivery sometime this week, maybe Thursday or Friday.

Dunno how to download from baidu.
September 28, 2015 at 11:58 am #12039Some more interesting news. I think there is a possibility to add 4G support to the tablet. The board seems to have an M.2 slot to connect a 4G module. Someone in the teclast forums tried it. There is a sim card slot near the micro SD card slot as well (not accessible from outside chassis). Pictures added below:
Specs of the card used: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/solutions/m2m-solutions/products/tech-specs/me906e-en.htm
Other brands similar modules should work as well I guess.

Official Chinese Teclast forum.
September 28, 2015 at 2:36 pm #12060@the-lord Nice. I saw it mentioned in the forum, but the thread I looked at only said that the M.2 was only for modems. Which is a shame as I thought straight away you could add another M.2 SSD in the spare port. But it seems not. (Source of this: http://bbs.teclast.com/thread-516182-1-1.html)
So the sim reader is already there on the mainboard and the antenna’s the guy must have installed?
We can see it has a small copper heat sink and a large thermal pad on the top. Might be some room for improvement adding a larger copper plate on top of it or using a better thermal pad.
My X2 Pro was just picked up by DHL, hopefully leaving Hong Kong today.

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30September 28, 2015 at 2:49 pm #12061Yea.. noticed the heatsink as well. There might not be another bigger heatsink on it as I don’t see any open screw holes on the board. I am guessing some metallic portion on the inside of the backplate which would touch the thermal pad.
I am getting eager day by day to open it. Still waiting on my SSD though.. still stuck at customs. I want to cross check the sim card slot and the M.2 WWAN slot before I purchase one locally. 🙂
I have added an image which shows the parts. The antennas was added manually I guess.
