in the download link is only the new android, i dont understand how a new android fix the poor wlan problem in windows 10?

This is actually an update for the Android OS and includes no BIOS update. So Wi-Fi reception on Windows does not change at all. Furthermore the update made no difference to wifi reception on Android either (in my case).

thats what i also think.

i usw the tablet nearly 100% only in windows so a android update makes no sense for me also if it makes wifi in android better because i need it better in windows

you should try these firmware and you will see – I repeat – no more problems with WiFi

WiFi in Windows is fine and much better then previous

Yep, same wifi issues here. Sloodki must be very lucky that it improved for him. From a technical standpoint it’s impossible that the wifi reception changes under windows at all due to the update. On Android side it could be that the update includes better drives, but even there for me the performance is not better.

my issue… – when i start my tablet i must wait 2-4 minutes for wifi connection and very weak signal reception (almost 4-5 meters). After upgrade – no more issue for my. So… yest – i’m lucky 🙂

where did you get the V1.09 firmware? because on the teclast site there is only the v1.08 Version. Is it a mod?

Officially by Teclast you only get the V1.08 as far as I can see. http://www.teclast.com/en/firmware/showtools.php

Hi,

first of all thanks for your answer. But anyway I´m confused about which is the latest Version of the firmware. On the teclast homepage there are two version you can download. On the english language site you get V 1.08 from 24.06.2016 ( http://www.teclast.com/en/firmware/showtools.php ) – and on the chinese language site you get V1.09 which seems newer but is from 24.05.2016 ( http://www.teclast.com/tools/pad/showtools.php ). So which Version should I install and why are there two different Versions on their homepage on each english and chinese language version of the site? I found the 1.09 Version by accident in this forum, but if I go on the teclast homepage (and I only understand english so I go on the english version of the site) I can only get V 1.08
So, 1.09 is already two month old, why is it not installed by default on the tablet, because the delivery was delayed to june and 1.09 is from may…?
