X80 Pro [E3E9] LCD Display Spoilt

Can you boot to Android ok?  There is an OTA update that you can apply from the Android side.  I don’t know if it will help, but I applied it to my E3E9 X80Pro when I got it and had no problems.

I know Chris has some firmware, but for this model, I have offered before, but asked that someone explain how I can do this without giving away my account information.  I am not opposed to resetting my tablet to wipe it, but I don’t want to do that just to waste the time from not knowing how to back it up so that the files can be used.

Both OSes are having this problem, maybe the LCD connector inside is having problems, so resetting might not do any good.

When I connect it to HDMI there are no problems.

Oh no.  Can the place you bought it from send you a replacement?  I don’t know if you will have success with doing that, but it might be worth a try.

If they won’t, then maybe open the back and see if the connector can be re-seated.  I hope it doesn’t come to that, but if you decide to do that, could you take some pictures of the internals and post them, for the rest of us?  X80 Pro needs some hardware mods done on it to improve wifi and maybe even put in a bigger battery and separate charging port.  That could help someone decide to do that.

Anyway, sorry to hear that, I hope you can get a replacement unit.
