Winston, I am facing some sound and display related hangups with the official remix rom. I would like to try flashing the stock rom boot.img and see if it helps. I haven’t rooted the remix rom yet.
I downloaded Root.X98Plus.V2.0B.by.spzjulien from your mega.nz link. I see 2 relevant files in that extracted folder root.bat and boot-root.img .

should I run the root.bat file in fastboot mode,
then run “fastboot flash boot boot-root.img”
or should I flash boot-root.img first and then run the root.bat file.

Ignore my above comment. looks like 3-5-7 button mod option has been included in FLASHER_v3.0.bat file.

Hi,

I have an A5C8 device, dirty installation of the 3.0 version of the rom removes the 3-5-7 button mod that I had done earlier.

And the extracted folder of 3.0 version  doesn’t have the buttons_mod.bat in it, so I am not able to do the button mod.

Also I tried to download the v2.1 from the url in my browser history, that also doesn’t seem to work 🙂

Can you provide a way to change the setting to have 7 buttons.
