Thanks for your replies, Cyberheater and Chris. Unfortunately my S/N is too low for that update (??).

 

I have been discussing with the (Chinese) seller for more than a week and opened a dispute to get AliExpress to help me. Both of them seem to have great difficulties understanding the issue…

Well, I managed to update the BIOS to v607 using the 32->64 bit post in this forum, but the lines are still there – both in the BIOS and in Windows.

Anyone else having the same display issue (they can be really hard to see, and only shows up on “semi-bright” colors)?
