    Thank you for the advice. I decided to do just that and contacted the vendor about the issue. I’ll wait for their response for now.

    Thank you for the response. I did run “sfc /scannow”, but it found no integrity violations. I also considered about clean install, but would prefer not to have all the hassle installing drivers and reinstalling all the programs that I already set up. Well, if nothing else helps I’ll probably contact Microsoft about verifying the product key and after that contact the vendor.
