And advise for future modders of Teclast x2 Pro… Who gave that crappy idea to unglue backcover with heardrier??? Backcover is mounted with latches, which are designed to be openned many times. Mine was openned >20 times, nothing is broken. So, the author of this video, if you are present on this forum. youtube.com/watch?v=9kl6SEKhJFY DELETE!!!! this. I’ll share the right video this week.
You have the first generation of X2, which comes with latches instead of glue. Lucky you! The rest we have a problem with the damned glue.
February 16, 2016 at 12:01 pm #26139Hello *FIXED*
When istalling it on default SSD, an error occurs. I followed your instructions, the name of the USB is “WINPE”, but this is what appears:
C:\images\Winre.wim
The wrong diskette is in the drive
Insert %2 (Volume serial Number: %3) into drive %1
“Faild to copy Winre.wim to r:\Recovery\WindwosRE”An error has been detected
Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks*FIXED*
I made the partitions with Windows oficial usb and then I install this image, and worked. Misteries of windows…
January 27, 2016 at 5:08 pm #24003I’m using the same tools for opening smartphones. I’ll try again this afternoon with other tools. Thanks
January 27, 2016 at 4:31 pm #23985@Ertciano I have the first gen and the corner bent up very easily. So you probably have gen 2. How long have do you run the heat gun?
Thanks for the info. I suppose I havent heat it enought. I used a hair drier between 1 and 2 minutes, until it was as hot as I can’t touch it. I’ll try again, knowing it’s gen 2. Thanks
January 23, 2016 at 6:00 pm #23466Great post. But, how do I know if I have a model 1 gen?
I’ve been trying to open it with heat gun, I insert something on the usb ports, but that corner below the usb doesn’t move. I’m bending the blackplate and aplying force but still doesn’t move the corner.
Thanks
January 15, 2016 at 11:23 am #22415It must be a software problem, not a hardware one.
Make sure you have all the requeriments like NetFramework, Visual+, and DirectX, of course.
January 15, 2016 at 11:21 am #22413Can you show me where it shows Windows 10 Pro? It doesn’t show it anywhere with the Media Creation Tool”.
The created bootlable device has all the versions of windows (Home, Pro, etc.), but you have to choose between 64bit or 32bits.
January 13, 2016 at 12:26 pm #22209I was just looking at this tool, does it download a Windows 10 Pro 64bit iso, or just a Windows 10 64bit iso?
When you open it, you choose what edition of windows you want, and it downloads the data and creates the usb or the dvd
January 12, 2016 at 11:48 am #22022Much easier: use Media Creation Tool from Microsoft. It’s official and does everything for you (it formats the usb, download the iso and copy it). Googled it with “Windows 10 media tool”
