Being in Oz(-tralia) I got my F6 Pro chargers from Kogan. A 40W type C w/- 12V @ 3A as one of the profiles:

.. Kogan source all their stuff from China, but I was unable to find anything elsewhere online that matched the specs, certainly nothing that was Australian standards approved (makes plugging things in at work, etc. less fraught if the device has the “tick of approval”).

Both devices work really well. YMMV wherever you happen to live.

I had this happen myself. Then I noticed the quick flash of the “trackpad disabled” symbol on startup. It appears that sometimes the trackpad starts in the disabled state. I pressed the FN+F12 combo and it was all golden. I don’t discount a flaky driver as a possibility as well.
