Not that I could ever find and I tried rooting and using Todd and other similar methods.

I couldn’t get Xposed to work without boot looping either.

In the end the only method that works is to reinstall changing the gpt file to the desired balance of Windows and Android. This does not utilise the SD but it does give you more storage on Android if you want.

ROM is for B2N3. Only a couple of changed files. You might find a solution in previous Machete posts.

Rather than upload it I’ll post the instructions I followed. It’s likely to change over time so better to get it from the source.

Start by installing Baidu on either your pc or android. Create an account. You need to log into Baidu without using chapta as it contains pint in characters. You can do this through the app or by using a different log in page on your browser. Google will find it for you.

Go to the link in the second post. This contains the links to the different ROMs.

Copy and paste the url. In the new forum, you need to post something in order to see the link. The link downloads a txt file which contains the Baidu link.

In Baidu you need to give the original poster some points to get the file. Don’t worry you get enough from creating an account. The file will be added to your Baidu account.

Download the file using the pc app or the android app. Don’t try to do it using the web interface, it always times out before finishing.

Install the file using the Intel flash tools. There are plenty of instructions for this on the forum.

FYI I replaced the gpt file to remove windows which caused an error message but no actual problems. If you get an error message try booting anyway.

You’ve installed the wrong Rom or boot.omg when trying to root. Make sure it’s the right x80 version and model. Reinstall the ROM or redo the root procedure with the correct file and all will be fine.

Battery life it’s as you’d expect for a 3500 mah, about 4 hours. No screen issues for me, but sd card did stop working

Any update on this ROM? It’s close to 100% working. Bluetooth audio and camera would make it perfect!

    Machete,

There is a problem with the new version, I think it’s the hardware acceleration in video. Can’t play videos properly from any source.

I’ve tried with an upgrade from your first version and a clean install and the problem is there both ways.

I’ve installed the first version again to confirm.

So far the only bug I have found is Bluetooth audio. Device connects, but no sound. Earphone plug is fine.

    Machetete,

Install was fine no problems. Just restoring apps now.

I think you should start another post for this as it will be popular and should have it’s own title.

No bugs so far, but just started using it.

    Well done!
