    Hi Chris,

I saw you video and did exactly that.

But it just says ‘not teclast PAD. Not continue’ then says, ‘Current BIOS version: Lastest version already’.

Is there any other ways I can update the BIOS?

Did some gaming when the tablet is over 50%. It overheats and gets up to 86 degree when gaming but no shutting down.

Now the battery is 20%, no crash.

I use it on battery. No problem whatsoever when plugged in.

My model is k9c3. After trying different things and even nearly bricking my tablet trying to flash android, I managed to recovered Windows 10 image of k9c6 model.

After that I let windows 10 update and use Intel update utility as well.

I haven’t had a crash after using your method. But I’m not sure if it will continue because when I add the additional power option using your method, the default option for battery is already passive. It’s only active for plugged in.

Also, in the intel graphic option, I just crank up everything. In 3d settings, I set best performance – override application…

In battery settings, I set to best quality.

Will update the status when I use the tablet a bit more.

    I’m using your method.

The tablet is working nice now. I haven’t had a crash even when gaming.

I’ll update here if it crashes.

    Hey mate.

The problem has been ridiculous for me as well. Yesterday when I received the tablet, it turns off to a blackscreen like yours when battery is under 40%.

I tried updating the intel display driver, it didn’t work.

Then I tried, disabling battery saver in intel graphic options. It worked. But only until today.

Now my tablet just turns off randomly no matter if it’s 40% or 60% battery. Really really annoying.

I have the K9C3 model. Which model do you have?

Do you think upgrading to the dual boot bios will help?
