My X98 Plus 3G does not read the SIM Card and connect to the U.S. Tmobile Network.

If I install your latest ROM, do you think it will fix the drivers?

Or is it the hardware?

According to Tmobile, in theory it should work on 2G and 3G.

A very skilled tech who I have gone to could not solve it.

We put in 2 sims, booted it from windows and android, and then resorted to wiping the machine with a hard reset.

The machine would still nor read the card.

if it read the card it would say no signal.

What bothers me the most is no company tech support.

They want ME to send it back on MY nickle.

The whole thing is very tiresome and unprofessional.

Besides that, I REALLY like the machine.

It is just not what I paid for as I wanted to use it on the road….

I tried to work it out with GearBest Tech Service.

They offered to:

1. Have me ship it back to China for a return ($30-40 at my expense)
2. Credit me $15
3. Ship me another for $180

I guess the problem with cheap and China is no one to talk to when indeed you have a problem.

Unless they make good on it, it will be the last time I order anything of substance from Chinese Companies.

Cheap is Expensive!
