Has anyone managed to update the version of Windows supplied without running into the ‘always on’ issue caused by the touchscreen driver ?

Hi, you aren’t the only one, I have also had this problem with every other version of Windows 10 installed other than the one from the manufacturer ! I ended up rolling back to that and seeing if eventually someone else would have the problem and have more time than me to look into it. I tried many combinations of drivers etc, to no avail.

I have no suggestions, but you are not alone !

Teclast tablets have the Lollipop upgrade.

Has no one tried the system.img from the Teclast tablets as they are similar ?

There are some partition.tbl files to increase the Android system partition over on http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support/intel-based-tv-players/511168-solved-install-upgrade-android-in-dual-boot-intel-box-stuck-at-uefi-built-in-efi-shell-while-booting-for-pipo-x7s-w8-etc

Replace the one on the USB stick you make to restore to Android.  This will enable Android only with full size.
