    Hi, I had the same problem, with my “Windows only” version, Windows 10 automatically updated the BIOS firmware, (for the wrong tablet)

    I had to buy the 3 bits (USB interface, 1.8v drop circuit and the 8 pin clip)  and re-flash the winbond BIOS chip.. :(, there are instructions how to do it on here and its quite simple to do, I re-flashed mine a few weeks ago and it hasn’t tried to flash back (although it did a long update last night when i turned it off)

    if it is the alloy keyboard, pres the blue “Fn” button and “F12” to disable numlock

    Fairs enough, I was more thinking of booting a “live USB” more than permanent / flashed solution.
