I have faced a similar problem like you i was unable to boot into windows when i first got my tablet. I eventually fixed my that problem by just installing windows 10 from Microsoft and then download the drivers from the this site. You are going to need several hardware to install back windows. You will need a USB hub, keyboard and mouse, flash drive and otg cable.

Just search through the posts done by eko and me (kvn), and you should fine your solution.

My battery life has been quiet good i get around 8-9 hours of moderate use on the android side. I do not use the windows side that much but i think i would probably get around 9-10 hours of moderate usage.

Your charging chart seem to suggest that it would take around 9-10 hours to full charge the battery (assuming the battery is charging at a uniform rate). Mine actually full charge in around 6-7 hours.

Glad to see you keeping up the good work and helping others out.

These cheap Chinese tablets are sometimes kind to tricky to work with. Right now my teclast x98 plus is working perfectly alright and i am not even going to consider flash any custom ROM or anything like that on it, with all the problems i see other persons have been encountering when they flash custom ROM.

Anyway though keep up the good work.

I have one question what is average charging time for your teclast x98 tablet and what charging adapter do you use?

Check out this other forum and search for the Touchsettings.gt file. If my memory serves me correctly i think you should copy and paste the file in the c:/Windows/INF  folder

The issue you are having with the touch calibration can easily be fixed. You just need to get the right touchsetting.gt file.

In regards to the other issues you are having i have no clue how to fix those.

Can you guys tell me, how long it takes for your teclast x98 plus tablet takes to charge from an empty battery to a full charge? And what is the current your charging adapter charges it at.

Open “Action Center” from the taskbar and uncheck “Rotation Lock”.

That should solve your problem

Thanks for the screen protector link.

There are some minor problem that you might experience with using tablet, me and others have these issues, like the time on both window and android are not in sync and also tablet seems to take long time to wake when you press the power button. Others have listed solution to these problem but they never worked for me.

But overall for me i think this is a good tablet but as i mention before it has its issues but i can live those. I am just hoping the battery last me two or three years.

I have a tempered glass on my tablet but i need something to reduce the glare, probably i will just buy a computer glasses.

Its was just the windows side of tablet that would not boot so I just download Windows 10 from Microsoft and the drivers from this site.

The android side of tablet always work.

I did a fresh installation of windows and everything works for me except i could not install Intel AVStream camera also. But both my camera actually work.

I never tried the 3G function but i assume it should work.

Sorry but I do not know about doubledriver backup from A6C9.

Did you get to activate windows?

Yes i do have the windows app that lets you boot from windows to android, I have two of them but only one seems to work. The one that is working my antivirus software is warning me about the file, I have scan the file with virus total but virus total says the file is clean, so i can only assume its a false positive. I will upload both of them for you.

Anyway though how is your windows installation going?

But how did you get to download the original teclast rom (windows + android), I have tried to download it from a Chinese site but i could not because i need an account to download it.
