just for the record and for people with unresponsive rows or columns on their screen.
Before opening up my tablet, I wanted to do some more research on this item and found a bit awkward solution on youtube. an piezo lighter!? Well, checkit out as it completely solved it for me ๐ ๐

August 16, 2016 at 8:40 am #46980hi Miroslav,
Was it difficult to open the tablet?
I have my cube type-c for about 2 months now, and love it. but since i’ve bought a stylus, I noticed an 0.5cm unresponsive column on my screen. As it is visible in android as in windows, and with or without a stylus, this sounds like a faulty connection with the digitiser I guess?! I prefer to try to fix it myself, rather than sending it in for repair. I’ll try to refix connector or apply some contact spray? I did open up phones, but never a Tablet. I imagine with the same tools and precaution I should be able to do the job ๐
let me know if you encountered difficulties.
thanks,
Lucien
July 16, 2016 at 8:57 am #43610Final update: The tablet is stable now?! No automatic ‘touches’ anymore for 3 days, it just stopped! Love this tablet. Charging with the c-port is quick. Happy User ๐
July 12, 2016 at 7:42 am #43230Update : I managed to get back on the plastic screen protector (boy, what a job, but with the help of some soap, I’ve managed it without bubbels) and is beter applied than originally. Now the isue still appears and automatically activate some ย touch points, but less frequently. Will test it a bit more the next ย couple of days ?
July 11, 2016 at 5:22 am #43113I have this without charger. Sometimes it is ok for a couple of minutes (especially after a restart) but soon it starts and mostly on the same screen spot ๐ Just took off the plastic protector, no help !! Big bummer as I really like this ablet.
July 11, 2016 at 2:47 am #43109Hi,
Just have this tablet for 2 days. I’ve the c-type that came with a usb3 adapter (guess so as its a blue one). Worked great thje first day, but now the screen started to react on its own and clicking automatically on certain spots, a totally disaster. It’s doin this in android as in windows?!?! Maybe it the screen protector that came with it? Someone else who has this strange behaviour?
