Yes, it holds a charge and can be used by the tablet as a power source. Nothing, and I mean nothing that I have tried will get the tablet to recognize the keyboard in either Windows or Android, and I have done fresh installs of both…

As to the pins – they appear to be normal.

Mine no longer functions at all – powered or not. Been searching for options to “wake” it in hopes it is software…

Keyboard uses same power source as tablet, so they didn’t pack a duplicate.  ASUS did this too with their transformers, so this was not a surprise for me – the theory being that you connect the tablet to the keyboard and plug into the keyboard, which charges the tablet first.

Good News!  1TB External HDD (USB 3.0) was discovered and usable in BOTH Android AND Windows.

Your best bet for finding the keyboard is going to be on aliexpress.com – just keep refreshing a search every day and reach out to the sellers – they will tell you if they actually have it or not.
As to pics – there is nothing that I could add that isn’t already out there – the keyboard looks and acts as advertised on the teclast website.

I will attempt to test a USB HDD shortly and will advise…

I have had it for a few weeks (actually found someone in china that had it before the 8/6 window opening).

Good news:  It works pretty much as advertised.

Bad news: Like other aspects of the Tbook 10, there are quirks.  It is hard to tell how many of the Android crashes (I assume others are seeing those? You know, the Android boot fail after about 48hrs of tablet being on in Android mode?) are because the keyboard randomly wakes the tablet.  It is also difficult to know how much battery life the keyboard actually provides as the internal battery reporting is soooooo bad and there is no way to access the % on the keyboard (I am coming from an ASUS Transformer where there WAS a widget that would tell you the keyboard battery life, but that widget did not work here).

I have the Tbook 10, and I too unknowingly removed the dual-boot option from power-up.  I have gone into the BIOS, and can’t for the life of me get that option back.  The three options are Android, Windows, and the EFI shell, but the EFI shell (For me at least) just goes into a prompt – nothing happens.

I CAN switch between the two OS’s inside each other, but I was looking for Chris’s magical tri-delta thingy to re-enable dual boot from within windows…and I can’t find anything of the sort…

    <sigh> – any thoughts?
