in this forum these guys posted pics of where the data +,- and +5v lines can be found.

You will have to find a suitable place to grab 0v line from though.

Hmm, it seems that you have tried to solder a USB type A port to the LED and SPEAKER terminals…

I hear there are actually two unmarked pads on the back of the board that are an additional data+ and data- for an extra USB port, but you’ll have to find +5v and 0v lines from elsewhere…

    Hi there,

my x80 power (Rev B2N6) screen died after a couple of weeks. I found a replacement screen for about £20 on AliExpress was a “BW8022D”. Took a couple of weeks to arrive and was quite simple to swap out. They do have some different revisions I think – so make sure you get the right one! And I’ve just done a search for it there but no longer available 🙁

    Good luck!

Hi. I had my x80 power go blank mid reading one day. Opened it up. There were some tiny (sub 1mm) capacitors that had exploded on the lcd circuit board. I don’t go in for SMT microsurgery so I just bought a replacement screen from AliExpress for £15. It works just great now. Just a few screws and a ribbon cable to do it. I did nearly break the WiFi antenna when unpeeling it so be careful with that and the ribbon cable. Good luck!
