    Is the information in the first post still useful? If I understand it correctly, the information was gathered by a person before he even received his x98 pro, and he then promptly sold it. Did he even try all the things he gathered, is the first post still relevant? Thanks.

    I have asked the same question on the x98 Pro page at Gearbest, and they answered:

    Your original question is “Has the overheating problem in the x98 Pro been fixed? Does it overheat in Win 10 only, or in both Win10 and Android? Thanks.”

    But I am not sure I’m convinced. It is so laconic that it doesn’t really ring true, but more like “yeah yeah, shut up and buy already” :).
