It is working for me with 64Gb Samsung card – I don’t need even to repeat this operation every time, it is working constantly π
May 22, 2016 at 11:33 am #38236I just received my Teclast X80 Pro – the gap between this model and Hi8 Pro is realy huge :
- from the beginning X80 Pro coming with DualOs – Windows 10 and Android 5.1
- Windows 10 is 64 bit from the beginning
- no issue with earphone jack – simply working with all earphones normally without any background noise
- no issue wth waking up from the sleep mode in Android
- Sleep mode in Windows 10 is not draining battery
- You can drain battery to 0% without any issues
Taking into cosnideration that screen resolution is the same and other parameters are similar (Teclast X80 Pro has microUSB) I really recommend any new buyers to consider Teclast X80 Pro – simply saying, the quality is much more higher and the price is still around 100 USD.
April 17, 2016 at 8:15 pm #33990I gave up with Chuwi – I ordered Teclast X80 Pro from Banggood (86 USD), already DualOS, and hopefully quality will be higher than in Hi8 Pro …
April 14, 2016 at 8:15 pm #33554My serial number is also 2xxx … I asked once again on Chuwi official forum to clarify how they are defining “first batch” …
April 14, 2016 at 6:35 pm #33541No luck it says invalid parameter or something very fast and quits the EFI shell. 32bit Vs 64bit issue I think??
No idea, but on Chuwi forum appeared new official Dual OS image for Hi8 Pro. I asked admin if Β Win10 only tablet can be upgraded with this image, but answer was that it is not possible π
Also on 4PDA (Russian forum) few persons bricked their tablets by trying to flash DualOS Bios. It seems, that for now a moment you can flash this Bios only with Bios programator …
I’m still wondering why is like this – I know that Hi10 can be flashed with Β 64bit Bios from 32bit without any advanced tricks. I’m supsecting that first batch of Hi8 Pro was released too early and this is causing this issue π
April 13, 2016 at 8:08 pm #33351Mine is working to, however I’m still afraid to flash Bios from 09.04 – just copied on flash disk all files but still no clear confirmation or instruction that it safe and will not brick my tablet π
March 15, 2016 at 7:42 pm #29523Anyone succeed yet?
Not yet – bad thing is that on official Chuwi forum admin is not saying precisely that this ROM is safe to flash π I don’t want to brick tablet 2 weeks after delivery
March 14, 2016 at 11:22 am #29314Thanx for the help – I will try today evening flash bios, my serial number is 2996 so I don’t expect any issues .
March 13, 2016 at 4:01 pm #29184Hi,
I downloaded dual boot package from 4pda and extracted it – but in Bios folder there subfolder called “dos” without any exe file . Any idea how to flash this bios (I guess from DOS bootable stick) ?
