I agree, but to buy tablet and its accessories completely, i think my money not enough. What do you think about iwork11?or there are other recommendations?
Nothing really wrong with an iwork11 especially if you find a nice deal, but you will get what you pay for, no matter how much you “save:”
Biggest disadvantages:
- eMMc storage. All of the cheapest tablets have this instead of an upgradable SSD. It’s fine for what it is, but just realize that read and write speeds are a lot slower for everything the tablet does. Since you have the extra money to spend, I wouldn’t recommend getting a model using eMMc storage. If you stick with any of the other recommendations in this thread you will do OK, they all have SSD drives and make just about everything you do with the tablet noticably faster.
- At last check, this tablet used a 32 bit version of windows…you will have to make sure you either get the 64 bit version or can easily upgrade to it. 32 bit windows can only “see” 3 of the 4gb of ram, so you don’t want to end up with the 32 bit version of windows that this tablet’s review said it came with.
Overall the non upgradable eMMc drive makes this one of the slowest pen based tablets. I haven’t used this one myself, but have enough experience using both eMMc/SSD tabs to know for most things I’d use a tablet for, that my time is just too valuable to waste on models that use eMMc storage. SSD drives have read/write speeds that can easily average out being two to six+ times faster…it does sort of suck because “SSD over eMMc” does kind of spoil you for the using the best, my guess is that once you’ve gotten used to even one tab that has one, you may find awfully hard to wrap your mind around buying anything at eMMc speeds again.
March 12, 2017 at 11:56 pm #63304I think Joachim and Reid both have made excellent recommendations, I think Cube makes some nice tech, especially for the price. I think recommending older models speaks well of how well these tend to hold up, but if I had about $400 to spend, I’d definitely get the newest, especially because the price has come down a lot, even in just the last week or so. The Cube Mix Plus has been $362-395+ for months, it’s now $299: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/gearbest-flashsale-cube-mix-plus-for-280e/
I would get the keyboard for about 53, a glass screen protector for 9, and a case for 10. That’s about $372 total for the latest and fastest version of what you are looking for, accessories included.
I don’t think you could go wrong with either the i7 book/stylus, but you won’t spend a lot more for the Mix that has the latest processor and a 128gb SSD.
If you find a really good deal on either of the other two, then here is a good thread comparison:

If it’s a Cube or something else, tell what you end up with and what you think of it.
March 12, 2017 at 5:08 pm #63294Yeah the prices have been coming down for the CM+ a lot lately. This gearbest deal is the best I’ve seen, but banggood is keeping pace with a price almost as good ($305.99) with 20% off coupon da8982.
Since I think Chris gets some help supporting this site by clicking on his links, here is his “Buy a Cube Mix Plus” at banggood link, copied from his review: http://www.banggood.com/Cube-Mix-Plus-128GB-Intel-Kaby-Lake-7Y30-Dual-Core-10_6-Inch-Windows-10-Tablet-PC-p-1109155.html?p=QZ14021624945201505Y
Fwiw, I’ve ordered from gb and bg in the past and can’t remember one being much different from the other. Both sites needed about a week to 10 days to get more expensive item to me here on the east coast, and it usually took about 3 weeks when ordering inexpensive stuff using cheaper shipping options. I’ve never needed customer service from gb, and bg’s was pretty good, I just remember neeing to be persistent. (they kind of wanted to “bargain,” lol, and it took a little bit of chatting to get an issue resolved to my satisfaction)
March 12, 2017 at 4:23 pm #63292Thanks for the replies — as far as the microSD card in the slot, I was going to spend more on a really fast one, but it looks like the 80 MB/s write speeds on a 128GB samsung pro select wouldn’t be a good match for this tablet.
As far the keyboard and USB3 speeds, I watched the video review again and it turns out that I should have been watching more closely the first time…Chris was talking about the USB2 kb port connected to his hard drive and the USB3 cable coming from the tablet at about the same time in the video, but the video does make it clear that the USB3 speeds he is talking about refer to connection coming directly from the tablet, and not through the kb ports. So since there is no difference in port speeds between the newer silver and older dark blue, I’m going for the latter because it should match up better with what I’m planning to do with the tablet when it shows up. I usually don’t care too much about appearences when it comes to tech stuff, but I think the bright bezel might be a distraction to me and plan alter it with a quick coat or 3 of a dark colored Plastidip.
