Yeah, I’m fully aware of that. I’ve built a dedicated gaming PC for the more demanding stuff at home. At home I’ll be using it for light internet browsing on the couch, listening to music or podcasts (with a BT speaker) while cooking or watching YT/Netflix videos at my desk while working or gaming on the PC. So I’m perfecly happy with a portable 10″ screen here. Even the N3450 would be more than enough for that.

However, I’m away from home a couple of times a month and I love a 2-in-1 tablet for its portability. I can’t fit a “real” laptop in my luggage and found the Surface RT to be the perfect fit size-wise. The only thing I was missing was the ability to run a few light games when I’m abroad for a bit longer and I’m craving a bit of a gaming fix. As I’ve said, just maybe half an hour of Heroes or Diablo3 to wind down after work. I’ve since watched your review of the Chuwi Hi13, and since te SurBook seems to be a prettier Hi13 I’m not quite sure if the N3450 can handle that… it’s so pretty though 🙁

Hey Chris, many thanks for your detailed answer. I’m actually leaningslightly towards the SurBook due to the display and the design.

Since I have absolutely no experience with mobile CPUs, how awful or viable is the N3450 for light gaming (2D/indie, MOBA, old RPGs)? If I can get HotS to 40ish FPS on low settings it would be enough for me to be frank. Google didn’t really help me find a decent answer to that, or my Google-Fu is just too weak 🙁
