At last a satisfactory outcome to report. Having settled on cost of shipping, and after showing proof of my shipping the tablet (Invoice with tracking number) Banggood have offered a full refund including shipping costs.

My iFive Mini 4S had issues running Go 4 after the 4.10 update. It had awful video lag, freezes and crashes.

Yes the Lenovo’s 16Gb is a bit small, but it will take up to a 128Gb micro SD card which you can format as internal storage if you want. It’s 2GHz CPU and 3 GB RAM mean that it runs Go 4 with no problems.

The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus has a camera flash.

Unfortunately the cheaper Tab3 8 lacks a flash.

OK. In that case the Xiaomi MiPad 2 could suit. http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_pad_2-7770.php

The Lenovo doesn’t have a gyroscope, but you’ll be very lucky to find a budget tablet with GPS, compass and gyroscope sensors.

The only tablets I’ve come across with all of those features are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and S3, but they’re way out of the budget category.

You may want to check out the Lenovo Tab3 8Plus.

I replaced my FNF iFive Mini 4s with the Lenovo after encountering problems with the iFive’s ability to handle DJI drone apps. The Lenovo handles it easily. The FNF does have a compass, but it’s almost useless twitching and turning constantly. By comparison the Lenovo’s is pretty good, settling well after the usual ‘Figure 8’ calibration.
