Hello. I got a newer Hi13 with GDIX1002. No problem running all sorts of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, openSUSE) except for the high resolution and no touchscreen. Today I reinstalled openSUSE 42.3 (for the moment on a USB key) and recompiled the newest kernel after editing goodix.o (replace gdix1001 with gdix1002) and everything seems to work when just started. The touchscreen support seems to survive lock but not sleep.
Combined with the relatively bad sensitivity when writing with the pen that limits the usability so far.
