Well I did the mod and so far it looks like it works great. I went from 90°C to 65°C. I was running Unigine Heaven for 20 min. So it looks like the 15x15x0.5mm copper shim works perfectly to it barely covers the whole processor but if you position it correctly and gently put the metal plate back on then you should be okey. And it looks like it does not push the screen at all.
Thank you, and I did check it already, but there is only one comment that talks about using a 15x15x1.0mm one, but I guess now that the tablet has arrive all just have to try it some time.
