I’d give it a good 30 minutes minimum. If you have enough batter you don’t have to plug it in but it couldn’t hurt…

For me it would get stuck around the time I rooted it. It happened twice but hasn’t happened again in awhile. Now it simply crashes all the time then reboots in the standard amount of time…

Try waiting at least 30-60 minutes. That’s what it took for me.

This tablet is no more than an occasional interesting toy for me. Android constantly crashes (usually boots right back up, but still) and battery life is absurd. I know Chris and some other say they get 4 or 5 hours, but I can’t even get 2 on this thing (either Android or Windows).

Ok, well problem solved. Turns out, it needed a “long” time to boot. I had tried about 15 minutes before, but this time I left it for 30 and to my surprise it booted up. When I opened up Supersu, it had a message about mounting namespace separation not being supported by all devices. So I’ve unchecked it, and now it boots normally again.

I never checked it, but I did install apps2SD and considered using it to try and move some apps to the SD card (off topic but for some reason the Teclast stripped this out… why??). Even just launching it apparently makes the modification. The app needs to be able to span sd cards so I can see why it would want to make the change, but not before I tell it to… I didn’t anything with the program except look around.

So let this be a word of warning unless anyone wants to try apps2Sd on the Teclast. Because I’m a sucker for punishment (and because I realllly want more than 10gb for my apps), I’m going to cautiously try again when my SD card arrives tomorrow…
