Hi Izak, I followed the Chinese Screenshots. Downloaded Intel USB Drivers because the one provided with the Manufacturing Flash Tool didn’t work with Windows 10. Then Installed iSOC driver. Booted tablet in to Dnx Mode pressing power and volume up together. Setup the Manufacturing flash tool looking at the screenshots and then plugged in tablet. It did the rest. Had to reinstall Windows 10 after flashing Android. I installed from my own ISO and it was a pain to get drivers installed. So I recommend using the official android rom and Windows 10 Image with all drivers installed. (The guy above posted: http://www.needrom.com/download/chuwi-hi8-dual-os/ )  Let me know if you need help. I can send the links.

    Cheers!

What did you mean by clearing all data? What kind of blue screen are you getting?

Hi Surachat, Thanks for replying and the Link to newest ROM. I’m trying to install Windows 10 using the ISO file I had myself. I’m not sure if it would work. I’ll update. 🙂 Thanks!

Update: I was able to Install windows 10 with the ISO I had. 🙂

Hi, Not sure if you solved your issue. I had to flash android because I had issues after rooting. I downloaded the android rom from this site. Then placed the config file. Got the manufacturing flash tool from here http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot.com/2015/02/intel-android-drivers-tools.html

Extract it then install both Intel driver & isoc. Install Manufacturing Flash Tool. Put your tablet in dnx mode. You can do this but turning off tablet and then pressing power button & volume up at the same time. The screen will say Entering Dnx mode or something. Then open manufacturing flash tool. Go to settings and change the settings as in the screenshots from The chinese guide. then Open the flash.xml. You can see the steps in chinese screenshots. Then plug your tablet it will start flashing. After flashing android, windows stopped booting I guess I have to install it again. Will try it. But Android works just fine. Hope it helps!

    Cheers!

I updated my Hi8 to Windows 1511 and I have same two problems: airplane mode button and problems with auto rotation. First problem is harmless for me, but with second I managed to find workaround. In my case this is not wrong accelerometer driver. Tried to reinstall it and no success. I had problems when trying to open display settings – settings app stops working. I disabled ambient light sensor in device manager and screen rotation and system settings app are working perfect. I didn’t found any newer driver for this sensor, so I had do disable it (I never use automatic brightness control – even on smartphone) I hope this can help someone

Thanks Pawel, This fixed the rotation issue for me.

Yes, Installing those drivers fixed for me too. But the g sensor doesn’t seem to work for me on 1511. Is your gravity sensor working after 1511 update? Does it automatically rotate your screen?
